The rucksack, your travelling buddy
Close Window

To many, a rucksack that has been used travelling takes on special value. Instead of being thrown away or replaced by a more recent one, it spends its retirement hiking or resting in the attic.

This is the case of Marguerite M’s Quechua rucksack: “I am very attached to the rucksack I took travelling so far. Rather than change it, I prefer to keep it for my next adventure!”

Marguerite went backpacking for a year through Asia. During a long journey, you could say “it’s all in the bag”: it contains what little you take with you (approx. 12kg, including equipment), and that little has a lot of importance.

The rucksack has to stay together, when you walk, on the top of a bus or when used as a “bench” during a long wait on the platform.

That’s why, to improve its products, Strenfit regularly analyses how their rucksacks’ components age: zips, stitching, etc…!
