STRENFIT fabrics are very often coated on one side to offer durability and waterproofing, and treated on the other side for water repellence. Misguided washing can damage these coatings and reduce the bag's lifetime.

=> How to wash your bag STRENFIT tips:
• The best way is by hand! Brush off the outside of the bag using a soft brush, water and a little soap if needed. Rinse and you're done.
• You can also machine wash at 30°C max, but this can squash down the foam padding meaning the bag loses some of its shape.
• Really dirty? Use a hose! But without too much pressure.
• Leave to dry in a well ventilated place! Tumble dryers operate on too high a temperature.

=> For your bag to last, avoid:
• Hard brushes, hot washes, pressure hoses, tumble dryers. These can attack the coating and treatment, and affect the fabric performance.
• Whatever you do, don't immerse or soak your bag. The fibres will soak up water and separate, resulting in seriously decreased watertightness!
• Never use solvents, which will dissolve your whole bag, not just the stain you're trying to remove.
• As a general rule, don't wash your bag too often to keep it at its best.

Tip:
Do you keep your dirty sports clothes in your bag?  To prevent smells settling in, put your kit in a pouch before putting it in your bag.
