Resistance to wear of finished bags : Strenfit also tests the resistance to wear of finished bags. Each pack is dragged hour after hour over various surfaces: concrete, tarmac, carpet….in dry and damp conditions, and every which way round!

The aim of this test is to reproduce all the situations the pack could find itself in, every day. Strenfit-labelled bags can follow you wherever, whatever the weather!

The Martindale test : The Martindale test is based on international standard ISO 12947-2.
Components are rubbed on abrasive materials with pressure equivalent to 800g applied. We count how many circular movements are completed before the first fibre breaks.

This number gives us the fabric's resistance to wear. For each use and each capacity, Strenfit has a fabric to meet specific and exacting demands.
